Platforms

Five platforms we build on. Three we’re certified in.

Stagebit builds and supports ecommerce stores on Magento and Adobe Commerce, Shopware 6, Shopify and Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, and Laravel. On three of those, however, we hold vendor certifications from Adobe, Shopware, and Shopify. Every badge below links to the issuing platform so you can check it yourself.

  • Magento & Adobe Commerce

Complex catalogues, multi-store setups, and B2B pricing rules. We launch, stabilise, and speed up Magento without breaking checkout or search rankings.

    • Hyvä theme builds and Hyvä Checkout
    • Magento 1 and Magento 2 migrations
    • Core Web Vitals on product, cart, and checkout

Adobe Certified Professional & Adobe Certified Expert

Commerce Developer and Commerce Front-End Developer, held by founder Rohit Kundale.

  • Shopware 6

Multi-currency, multilingual, and B2B pricing without bolt-ons. Strong fit for DACH and EU brands, and the usual destination for stores leaving Magento 1.

    • Shopware 6 builds, redesigns, and relaunches
    • Flow Builder work and custom extensions
    • Magento 1 to Shopware 6 migrations

Also in our stack

Neither WooCommerce nor Laravel runs a vendor certification programme comparable to Adobe, Shopware, or Shopify, so there is no badge to show you. Judge these two on shipped work instead.

  • WooCommerce

WordPress control without the plugin bloat. Speed fixes, checkout reliability across payments, shipping, and tax, and clean rebuilds of stores that grew by accretion.

    WooCommerce development services
  • Laravel

A framework, not a storefront. This is where the work a store plugin cannot do goes: ERP, PIM, and WMS integrations, B2B portals and quoting, and custom middleware.

Not sure which platform fits

We recommend against a replatform more often than for one.

Start here

Start with the problem you actually have

Four situations cover almost every brand that comes to us. Because the reply comes from someone who has done that specific job before, you skip the generic discovery form.

  • Build

    Building something new

You are launching, or replacing something that was never built properly. We map the store before touching code, then QA every checkout path, every payment method, every edge case, before your first customer sees it.

    +620%

Revenue growth, with a 42% conversion rate lift, on the Magento 2 platform we built for Crate & Barrel’s Middle East franchise.

  • Fix

    Slow or broken site

Traffic is fine and sales are not. We find the real blockers, whether that is render blocking scripts, checkout friction, theme bloat, or caching that was never configured properly, and fix them against a written roadmap rather than a guess.

    8 to 12

Specific optimisation opportunities we typically find in the first audit session, each one written down with what it costs you and what fixing it involves.

  • Zero Downtime

    Migrate

    Stuck on the wrong platform

End of life Magento 1, a platform you have outgrown, or licence costs that stopped making sense. SEO safe planning, full redirect mapping, and launch day validation, so your rankings hold and your customers never notice the switch.

  • Support

    No one looking after it

Your last developer left, or every small change turns into a week of chasing. Monthly retainers cover bug fixes, security patches, performance monitoring, and small feature work, with the same engineers who already know your codebase.

    78%

of clients stay with us after their first project, based on clients engaged since 2022. We patch, monitor, and fix things before they turn into downtime, so you are not the one googling error messages at midnight.

    Ask about support

None of these quite fit?

Book 30 minutes. Rohit reviews your store before the call and takes it himself. If we are not the right fit, you will hear that on the call rather than in a proposal three weeks later.

Who you deal with

Senior-led is a claim. Here is the person it refers to.

Most agencies put a senior name on the proposal and hand delivery to whoever is free. Every certification on this page is held by one person, and that person answers your first email. Both credentials below link to Credly so you can check them without taking our word for it.

Rohit Kundale, Founder and Lead Engineer at Stagebit, an eCommerce development agency

Rohit Kundale

Founder & Lead Engineer

Rohit founded Stagebit in 2017 and still writes code on client projects. Every engagement gets scoped by him personally, the architecture gets reviewed before build starts, and he stays the named contact for the life of the project rather than handing off after the proposal is signed.

His experience in the Magento ecosystem goes back 12+ years, since 2013, across Magento 1, Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, and Hyvä. As a result, both Adobe credentials below are his, and Stagebit’s Shopware Extension Partner and Shopify Partner listings were both established under his direction.

He also takes the first call on every new enquiry, reviewing your store before it starts so you are not spending thirty minutes describing what he could have read himself.

Agency & White-Label Partners

We build the store.
You keep the relationship.

Some of our best client relationships never see our name on an invoice. If you’re an agency, freelancer, or consultancy that needs delivery capacity for Magento, Shopify, or Shopware work, we can sit behind your brand or beside it. Whichever your client relationship calls for.

NDA by default Senior-led delivery Same-day reply

[Your Agency Name]

Invoice #0231

Delivered by your team

This is what your client sees, not a hypothetical. Toggle it. Nothing changes on our end either way.

Confidentiality

NDA by default

Every partner engagement starts with a mutual NDA before any project details change hands. Your client relationship, your pricing, and your account details stay yours, never shared or referenced elsewhere.

Delivery

White-label or co-branded, your call

In most cases, partners keep us fully invisible: nothing under our name, one named contact on our side, updates through whatever tool you already run. Some bring us onto client calls directly for larger builds instead. Either way, your client’s identity stays behind the NDA.

Communication

Built to fit your process, not ours

You tell us how you want updates, a weekly call, a shared Slack channel, or comments in your own tracker, and we fit into it. One named contact on our side for the life of the engagement means you’re never re-explaining the project to someone new.

Pricing

Wholesale rates for ongoing partners

Agency rates apply from your first project, not after some volume threshold. Recurring work gets a standing rate so you’re not requoting the same scope every month. Ask on the call for numbers specific to your platform.

Still have questions?

We answer the most common questions about building, fixing, migrating, and scaling eCommerce stores—so you can move forward with clarity.

What eCommerce development services do you offer?

Stagebit covers four core areas: new store builds, performance fixes and UX improvements, platform migrations, and ongoing support retainers. We work across Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, and headless PWA builds, whichever platform fits your business, not whichever one is easiest for us.

Which platforms do you specialize in for eCommerce development?

Our primary platforms are Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, and Shopware 6. We also build on WooCommerce and Laravel for custom needs. We hold Adobe Magento certifications in-house and are an official Shopware Extension Partner, so you're getting specialists, not generalists.

Is your team Magento certified?

Yes. Stagebit's Founder & Lead Engineer is Adobe Magento certified, and we have certified Magento developers on the team. Most agencies learn Magento on your project. We don't. We've been deep in the ecosystem for years and our certifications reflect that. When you bring us in for a Magento build or migration, you're getting people who know the platform from the ground up.

Are you a certified Shopware partner?

Yes. Stagebit is an official Shopware Extension Partner and is ranked among the top Shopware development agencies on Clutch. We work with Shopware 6 end-to-end, including migrations from Magento 1 and WooCommerce, Flow Builder customisation, headless setups, and extension development. It's not a side offering; it's a core part of what we do.

How much does it cost to build an eCommerce store?

It depends on the platform, scope, and integrations involved. A focused Shopify build typically starts from $4,000–$15,000. A Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce project with custom functionality starts from $15,000 and scales with complexity. We scope every engagement individually. Book a call and we'll give you a realistic estimate based on what you're actually building, not a generic bracket.

How long does a build or migration take?

A Shopify store typically takes 4–8 weeks. Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce builds run 8–16 weeks depending on custom requirements. Platform migrations, Magento 1 to 2 or Magento to Shopware, usually take 10–20 weeks when done properly with SEO-safe redirects, data validation, and launch-day testing baked in. Rushing timelines almost always creates hidden costs later.

When does it make sense to migrate from Magento to Shopware?

Shopware 6 is worth considering if you're on Magento 1 (end-of-life), need native multi-currency and multilingual support, or want a more modern developer experience. It also handles complex B2B pricing rules well out of the box. We migrated Macrovet.nl from Magento 1 to Shopware 6 with zero downtime, 100% data preserved, and 90+ Lighthouse scores on launch day. It's not always the right move, but when it is, we know how to execute it cleanly.

Do you offer SEO-safe eCommerce migration services?

Yes. Every migration includes a pre-launch SEO audit, full redirect mapping, canonical tag setup, structured data preservation, and post-launch traffic validation. We treat organic traffic continuity as a hard requirement, not something to revisit after go-live. Losing rankings during a replatform is avoidable when the migration is planned properly from the start.

My store is slow and losing sales. Can you fix that?

Yes, and it usually doesn't require a full rebuild. We audit checkout friction, Core Web Vitals, server response time, render-blocking scripts, image delivery, and caching config (Varnish, Redis). On Magento, switching to Hyvä themes alone can cut frontend bundle size by 70–80%. We've delivered 42%+ conversion rate lifts for clients like Crate & Barrel's Middle East franchise. If you have traffic but low conversions, the problem is almost always findable and fixable.

We've worked with agencies before and it went badly. What's different here?

We're a specialist eCommerce agency, not a generalist studio that takes every project. Engagements are led by senior developers, not handed off after the proposal. You get a named contact throughout, a same-day reply commitment, and a clear written scope before any code is written. You can also read our actual Clutch reviews before deciding — we don't curate what's shown.

Do you work with agencies, or only direct clients?

Both. A meaningful share of our work is delivery capacity for agencies and consultancies who need a Magento, Shopify, or Shopware specialist without hiring one in-house. We can work fully white-label under your brand, or as a named subcontractor if your client relationship calls for that instead. Every partner engagement starts with a mutual NDA before any project details are shared.

How does white-label delivery actually work day to day?

It depends on how much visibility you want your client to have into who's actually building. Fully white-label: we work entirely behind your brand. No mention of Stagebit anywhere the client can see. You get a single named contact on our side for the life of the project, and frequent, often daily, updates through whichever tool you already run things on, Slack, Jira, or email, we fit into your existing setup instead of asking you to adopt ours. Named subcontractor: we're introduced to your client directly, and if you'd rather we speak with them ourselves, we're comfortable doing that too. Some partners prefer this for larger engagements where the client wants technical access without going through a middleman on every question. Either way, contact stays frequent by default, and nothing about the relationship, pricing, or your client's identity goes past our team without a signed NDA first.

Do you work with brands outside the UK and US?

Yes. Our clients are based across the US, UK, Canada, UAE, Netherlands, Germany, and Australia. We work asynchronously across timezones with a same-day reply commitment regardless of location. Our team is remote-first and built specifically for international delivery. Timezone differences have never been a blocker on a well-structured project.

Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance?

Yes. Monthly support retainers cover bug fixes, security patches, performance monitoring, and smaller feature development. Retainer clients get prioritised response times and a predictable monthly cost instead of ad-hoc invoices. Most clients who work with us on a project move onto retainer afterwards. It's a natural next step when the relationship is working.
