Since June of 1999, Party Expert has been offering its clients all essentials to organize any Party Event. In doing so, Party Expert has fast become the largest provider of Party Costumes and Accessories.
Party Expert is a leading provider of party costumes and accessories in Canada. They offer excellent services and advice based on your specific needs among a wide range of party costumes, home & decors, props, accessories, and everything that you need to make your celebration memorable. They own multiple stores at multiple locations in Canada and do everything to meet your needs and wishes at affordable prices.


The Challenge
When we first went through their website client was operating an old website on an outdated Magento1. The client had several stores in Canada and he wanted us to migrate their old Magento1 store to the latest Magento 2 platform.

We first conducted a technical audit on the website and worked on several code & UX improvements which were nothing hard to do. As we knew there’s serious work waiting for, and soon. The client wanted to redesign and redevelop a store that can manage and show the product quantity and availability of all stores (Like how many products are available at a particular store) from a single place or backend system.
We quickly made a plan for the new design and development of the e-store and guided the client about the same. After finalizing the requirements, we first went through the migration process and migrated their outdated store to the upgraded Magento 2 without any data loss.


Soon after, we created a fresh design from the scratch with our creative UI/UX designers and started the development of the website.
We also wanted the client to take full advantage of the unbeaten features and functionalities we implemented in the new store. After designing & developing, we optimized the store to load instantly across all devices and platforms.
We went deeper into the way users interact and we made high-level SEO techniques and enabled advanced search functionalities that would:
- Meet the needs of customers the way they search the product
- Implemented SEO techniques to enhance the store visibility
- Allow the client to view and manage all products of different stores from one place.
- Simplify the billing details, including orders, invoices, user data, etc.
Since we were in a position where we worked with varied clients and multiple industries and earned the customer’s trust, fame, and popularity, we efficiently created the most perfect solutions that addressed the unique requirements of the client.
The Solution

To show items of each store
It was completely different, where we had to display and manage all inventory and products of their multiple stores from a single website, allowing customers to check the specific product available at a certain store. So, that they can place the order from their nearby store and save their time and money. It was something amazing which helped our client grow their business exponentially.
This was done in the closer contact of the client and our developers. We made it so simple that it was pretty easier to operate and manage all products & inventory of their multiple stores from one place. In short, we delivered the best solution based on the Magento commerce cloud and helped the client get everything done the way they wanted.
Advanced Search Functionality
We made & enabled advanced search functionality that could instantly display the products as customers type the relevant keywords or search for the wanted product in the extended search box.
Payment and Shipping
A large proportion of Party Expert users came via mobile devices. As a result, we added payment options such as PayPal and Google Pay. since it was the most convenient choice for all the customers.
Party Expert’s Shipping Procedure contains functionality that shows the estimated delivery date for a specific customer by tracking the customer’s IP address. We suggested our client that having such functionality adds an extra degree of protection to customers and we used Fenix: Delivery Date+Shipping for that. There is also the option of sending SMS notifications to customers for sharing an Order Tracking link with them. This assists customers in tracking their orders as well as increasing Customer Lifetime Value, Retention, and Loyalty.


UX Improvements
The outdated web store was not appealing and fully responsive, there were a few areas that needed to be improved from the point of user experience. We went deeper to gather insights across the entire UX improvement process and crafted each page design with extra & detailed attention to detail, be it menu page, product page, category page, or inside page design.
We made it all with easy navigation, so customers can quickly find and search for the product they are looking for without wasting a single second on the store.
The complex task was to show & handle all products, including the product pricing, detail, availability, display stores name & the location where the specific product is available or not, quantity, color, size, and more right from the window.
However, we managed to create all that was required from the client with a bit of creative design and leadership of development in fixed time and budget, while maintaining all workflows simultaneously.
The Result
After the successful migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2, the Party expert was able to increase sales and website visits within a little span of time. The client is very happy and satisfied with the solutions we offered.
After the day of development, we started working on performance optimization and made the website load within 3 seconds across all devices. As a result of it, the client is very happy and satisfied with the solutions we offered. If we compare the performance and results from the previous store, the results can be seen as:
